HOW TO POST PICTURE'S IN THE OWNER'S CLUB « Thread Started on Aug 27, 2009, 3:44pm »
Posting Picture's of Your Tractor and Especially those maintenance procedure's helps other's so much to learn. So it's an excellent way to help other's and to make friends all over the Planet and Beyond...
It's Easy As Pie,, So Let's Get Started:
1. Take those Pic's..
2. Download Pic's to Your PC.
3. Create a Free Account with PhotoBucket http://photobucket.com/ or other Free Photo Hosting Site.
4. Select Upload Photo's and if more than One,, Select the Bulk Uploader,, because it is much easier and faster. Then Select the Photo's that you wish to upload.
5. After the Picture's have Uploaded to PhotoBucket,, Check the Little Box by each picture that you wish to post in The Owner's Club.
6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select "Generate HTML & IMG Codes".
7. Copy the codes in "Clickable ThumNails For Message Boards".
8. Paste those Codes in your Posting here in The Owner's Club,, and that's all there is to it.
9. You can also select Preview to arrange your photo's and your Explanation's of them before posting. That's what I usually do.
If you experience problems Uploading or useing the BulkLoader, at Photobucket, they have a very good Self Help Section for getting your PC compatible,, and diagnoseing, the problem. Here is just one link to Image Uploading Troubleshooting:
Recently,, I had to Reformat,, and Restore My HardDrive back to Factory Image,, and had to start again from Scratch,, with Adding Hardware,, and Software back on. PC worked good,, but the BulkLoader at PhotoBucket would not Open Up. I went through the Self Help section above,, Did all except Loading FireFox,, and was able to get the Bulk Loader at PhotoBucket working again. And that made me very pleased,, that I could do it myself,, not knowing exactly what I was doing,, but by following the instructions,, Very Carefully I Might Add...
I'm not really a Computer Person,, so to speak, I use mine a lot,, but knowing exactly how everything works,, for the most part,, I don't know,, and If I have to Figure it out,, sometime's,, I try to Forget it as soon as Possible... Just too much information for My Small Mind To Hold On To...
There are several other Free Image/Picture hosting Providers. Here are 2,, and Most of us like PhotoBucket the best.
They can be found by Typing in Image Hosting into your Search Engine,, and they will come up for you to check them out.
It's a Whole lot of Fun Posting Picture's and helpful Maintenance Procedure's. And it also give's you a good feeling because you know that you are helping other's,, and that is what it is all about here in The Owner's Club.
